Anyway,I think every diary deserves consideration!I have read almost everybody's blogs and I must say that I found a lot of interesting things for me!

Self-assessment

To create my own blog-diary is something new for me.I have never been keen on writing a diary, but this task seemed to me very interesting and useful. It helped me to express my thoughts and discourses more exactly and obviously. Moreover it was so fascinatingly!Besides I  am really fond of reading the books and I think due to the blog I became more intent during the reading and paid more attention for some details which sometimes escape from my senses. And all tasks were extremely exiting!Unfortunately I hadn't enough time for it and because of my habit to do everything at the last moment I wasn't able to create every point and I regret a lot. But I decided to use my blog  in the nearest future again!I hope it will be more interesting and will have a lot of supplement (more pictures, videos, musics).I will try to improve my style of writing and interest a lot of people in it!
As for the book...I think it changed my attitudes to Bridget's story, before  the reading I considered it was fast and quite moderate. Now I liked the heroine ,she is so colorful ,unexpected and in some cases quite mad! And, of course ,she deserved her woman's happiness.

P.S. the heroine of my book tried to write a diary too.I think she was better and more informative in it than me:)

What's happen in the end?

I have already read almost the whole book. And now,I am going to tell you about Bridget's fate.
After  long tortures and worries about unfaithfulness of Daniel Bridget change her work and got a job as television anchorwoman on a small channel. She becomes closer with Mark (it's a person who was rudely introduced to Bridget as  her potential "prey"-her future husband)  but suddenly between Daniel and Mark happened a fight.Bridget was disappointed in Mark and didn't want to be with him anymore. However, she knew that Marc was broken down by his wife for Daniel! She hurried to meet with him but unfortunately Marc was going to leave Britain for America...
What is going to be?
To my mind Bridget will try to find an opportunity to speak to Mark, express her feelings ,persuade him that she regrets and excuses...Bridget will understand that Mark is her ideal man for love and happiness!I really want that  they will be together and nobody won't able to destroy their relationship! And the heroine  at last will reach everything what she wants.

Film

Now I would like to say some words about the film "Bridget Jones's diary".

Before I chose the book I had seen the film which script is based on the plot of the book.Speaking about main characters, Renée Zellweger is an ideal actress for Bridget's role.I think she has all necessary merits, her wonderful skills and abilities bring uniqueness and singularity for character of Jones. Also Hugh Grant is one of my favorite actors,he acts Daniel Cleaver and his charm amuses and strikes me.I think if I directed a film I  would give the main roles the same actors which play in the  present film.

Read a review

I found an interesting review on my book!
this one:
The "diary" began as a newspaper column in Britain. As a book, it sold nearly a million copies there; currently it is No. 8 on the New York Times bestseller list.

The tome recounts a year in the life of our heroine, which begins with a flirtation-turned-affair with her boss, the breakup of her parents, and commiseration with her faithful Singleton friends (a recurring event usually involving a drunken summit at their favorite restaurant).

Throughout the year, Bridget contends with the emotional f**kwittage of the pseudo-boyfriend ("Daniel insisted on spending all afternoon with the curtains drawn, watching the cricket"); the personality change of her flighty, prissy mother ("Don't say 'what' darling, say 'pardon'"); family friends' perennial attempts to fix her up ("they kept making me walk around with trays of gerkhins ... in a desperate bid to throw me into Mark Darcy's path"); and a career change ("I don't know anything about television, but, sod it, I'm stuck in a dead end here").
None of which is too unusual (except for the neat ending -- it is fiction, after all), which is why many women see themselves in Bridget. While she might espouse feminist ideals, she somehow is on a "permanent, doomed quest for self-improvement," as Fielding put it in a CNN interview, and can't shake the age-old need to please and attract the attentions of a man.

Some idealists might see such a woman as a troubling role model, but who are they kidding? I mean, we really do act like that. Bridget Jones is a fair compromise between the '70s-style feminist and the '50s-era debutante -- the '90s woman.

Symbolism aside, it's Bridget's quest, obsessions and idiosyncrasies that hook you.

She begins each day's entry by listing her weight ("130 lbs., terrifying slide into obesity"), how many cigarettes she smoked ("28, but will soon give up for Lent so might as well smoke self into disgusting smoking frenzy"), and how many calories she consumed ("998, excellent, v.g., perfect saint-style person").

While Bridget's weight has been translated to pounds from the British stone, there are several very British references in the novel, such as store names, celebrities and television shows. But any American ignorance of their significance doesn't detract from the enjoyable read. And context helps decipher British vocabulary: fag = cigarette, flat = apartment, mini-break = long weekend, bugger off = well, you know.

Fielding's prose-cum-diary is full of witty phrasing and clever dialogue which at once seems realistic yet leaves the reader thinking, "Nobody I know is that witty and clever."

Although it does have a denouement of sorts, "Bridget Jones's Diary" is such a quick and engaging read that I was left wanting more.

Fortunately, Fielding promises more -- a sequel and a screenplay are on the way. They'll be welcome; perhaps we'll find out if Bridget makes a successful transition from Singleton to Smug Married.

So I think that I  absolutely agree with the author in most of aspects. From the one hand, for me Bridget Jones is really unusual person but from the other hand we often act like that.We have the same problems(with weight, bad habits, male)  and the same worries and we also try to decide them! She would like to attract the attention of a man and meet her true love:doesn't every woman look for it?

As for style of writing I found it available and at the same time clever and interesting. The author described Bridget's life in a very realistic manner as we are her close friends and take part in her adventures. In addition,it's true that after  the ending of my reading I understood it was so exiting that I left wanting to continue my "communication" with the main character!

Love or not to love?

Well,my dear diary,at last Bridget dated with Daniel! They spent a marvelous evening together but then...He didn't pay any attention to her!She was so embarrassed and too sad that she decided to gather a board  meeting which included her close friends-Jude and Sharon.
During discussing the problem Jude advised her to give Daniel a chance,be friendly and flirty and reassure him that she trust him and  not to be going to become needy or fly off the handle. But Sharon said it was inhuman to leave woman hanging in air and advised Bridget to tell him that it's an appalling breach of confidence.
What choice will Bridget do?Will she regulate their relationship or would she like to break it and not to try to   undertake anything?
Oh,and the outcome is really unexpected!
Bridget called her friend Tom and he advised her try to behave more cooly and in a standoffish manner and after that, Tom persuaded her ,Daniel will  be interested in her a lot!
